HOW WE WORK

HABIT NOW works in focused, decision-led engagements designed to help global teams understand how insight translates across cultural contexts.

Rather than offering a fixed process or a one-size-fits-all approach, we work at different depths, depending on the nature of the insight, the markets involved, and the decisions at stake.

The aim is always the same: to apply the right level of analysis to support confident strategic judgement - without unnecessary complexity.

Choosing The Right Depth

Not every question requires the same level of work.

Some situations call for a rapid sense-check before investment is committed. Others require more space for interpretation, cultural nuance, or new learning. In higher-stakes situations, deeper foundational work may be needed to revisit assumptions entirely.

Our engagements are structured around three typical depths of work.

Depth 1: Scan

The Scan is designed for situations where speed and focus matter.

It is typically used to:

  • test whether a specific insight is likely to hold across two markets

  • conduct early cultural risk assessment before scale or investment

  • support go / no-go decisions

Scans are tightly scoped, draw on existing material, and result in a clear assessment of whether an insight is likely to travel and where it may break.

Depth 2: Review

The Review is designed for situations where an insight is strategically important and needs to be understood properly across markets before being acted on or scaled.

It allows space to:

  • explore how meaning shifts across cultural contexts

  • understand differences in habits, interpretation, and motivation

  • clarify implications for strategy and execution

Reviews may incorporate new qualitative work where appropriate and result in a bespoke, decision-focused output.

This is the most common depth of engagement.

Depth 3: Deep Dive

The Deep Dive is designed for higher-stakes or more complex situations.

It is typically used when:

  • multiple insights are in play

  • foundational assumptions need to be revisited

  • cultural understanding is non-existent, incomplete or contested

Deep Dives involve more extensive qualitative work and deeper interpretation, with the aim of building robust, resilient insights that can support long-term strategic direction across markets.

How Clients Typically Engage With Us

Some clients come to HABIT NOW with a clearly defined brief and a live decision to support. Others arrive with a sense that something isn’t translating across markets but need help clarifying where the issue sits.

In either case, our role is the same.

We use early conversations to help clarify:

  • what decision needs to be made

  • what insight is in question

  • what assumptions have been made

  • how many markets are involved

  • what level of confidence is required

From there, we agree the depth of work that best fits the situation.

If you’re considering how a key insight needs to travel or where cultural context may be shaping outcomes in ways that aren’t yet visible, we should talk.
